Yesterday, we Spacemasters had the first serious exam.
Space dynamics. Control theory. Root loci. Transfer functions. Stability. Attitude determination and control. Sensors. Actuators. Rotations. Quaternions. Direction cosine matrices. Euler angles. Euler axis.
It was doable. But not in this limited time. The first part was 30 minutes knowledge questions (no material). The second part was 60 minutes on three tasks with various subtasks. I finished nearly two tasks. Hardly anybody finished all.
We'll see how we've done.
