Today, for the first time in my life, I have tried to go by bicycle, but failed.
Half a meter of snow stacked against my bicycle as it is parked against the wall.
Bicycle bag half-filled with snow.
The wind, 10-12 m/s on average but with windgusts considerably faster, occasionally reducing visibility to 200 meter.
Stacks of snow on the road, up to decimeters high.
I made it to the end of the street. With the wind in my back. Mostly by pushing, though.
Shall I surrender and take the bus?
