Kinnarodden / Cape Nordkinn

In the past week, I have been to Kinnarodden / Cape Nordkinn and to Tromsø. My friend arrived Thursday evening and on Friday morning we left with our rental car. Our first stop was at Skoganvarre, world famous in The Netherlands for being the place of departure of Alfred and colleagues in the book "Nooit meer slapen" ("No more sleep") bij Willem Frederik Hermans. On the second day we drove to Mehamn, where we received information about a hike to Kinnarodden, the northernmost point of Europes mainland. We left for our hike on Saturday afternoon and returned Monday afternoon. We drove to Tromsø, where we arrived Tuesday afternoon (after staying at Stabbursnes at Porsangen). We explored Tromsø where a seagull attacked me. Yesterday (Thursday) we returned to Kiruna.

Details follow. Pictures can be seen here.

Hi adev, no. It is not easy and it is not well indicated. There are cairns roughly every kilometer or so, but you need a map with the cairns indicated and ideally a GPS receiver along with the cairns positions to easily find the way. There is no real path, it's just a route through the rocky terrain.
